Abstract/Description:
This talk provides an overview of the photon map module developed to supplement RADIANCE with a forward raytracer. The motivation for this add-on stems from the difficulties faced when modeling materials which give rise to caustics. Particular emphasis was placed on checking the physical validity of the photon map.
