This presentation outlines the challenges and rewards of using Radiance to simulate natural and electric lighting in a consulting (i.e. time-critical) environment. Obstacles such as learning curve, modelling, workflow, and analysis will be discussed. Comparisons will be made to other lighting simulation packages and their associated benefits and drawbacks. Various examples and case studies will be presented.
